What I'm looking for
I currently work as an Exam Room Assistant at Craig Road Animal Hospital, where I create a calm, welcoming environment for pets and their owners. I assist veterinarians during exams by safely restraining animals, preparing tools, and keeping exam rooms clean, stocked, and ready for the next appointment.
I also support clinical accuracy and continuity by collecting patient histories and updating medical records with detailed notes using Impromed software. I monitor and record vital signs, comfort animals using gentle, low-stress techniques, and assist with sample collection (urine, feces, blood) while ensuring proper labeling and processing.
Before this, I built strong service and performance skills as a Customer Service Representative at Wyndham Destinations and AT&T, handling high volumes of calls, de-escalating concerns, and documenting interactions using NICE (eContact) software and other systems. I bring that same professionalism to the veterinary setting—communicating clearly about wait times, procedures, and follow-ups while supporting smooth patient flow across the team.
