Library Media Assistant focused on customer service, documentation, and data-driven solutions.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Library Media Assistant and solutions-oriented professional with extensive experience across customer service, documentation, sales, and inventory. In my current role (Montgomery County Public Schools), I operate the school library, support students and teachers with circulation, and obtain reference materials while supervising library activities.
I’m systematic and consistent in how I work—handling technical services like acquisitions, cataloguing, and processing of library materials, plus housekeeping tasks for maintenance and repair of the collection and audio-visual equipment. I bring a customer-service mindset and due diligence to problem-solving, informed by years of quality-focused and client-facing work.
Previously, I held quality and compliance roles at General Mills and production-related quality positions, where I kept quality control of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products by completing micro and chemical tests for food safety. I also developed strong documentation habits for audit preparation, and I’ve managed inventory and validation workflows by inspecting arrival of ordered items, verifying standards, and maintaining electronic inventory lists.
Alongside this foundation, I’m actively building cybersecurity capability through hands-on projects and coursework. I’ve built an automated Security Operations Center threat-intelligence pipeline using n8n with URLhaus and VirusTotal enrichment, completed ISO 27001 and GDPR compliance auditing exercises, and applied cloud security remediation concepts for AWS S3 using CloudTrail, EventBridge, and Lambda—plus vulnerability assessment, network traffic analysis, and malware detonation/analysis practices.
