Where We Work

• Value Engagement Selling: Asks good services discovery questions that unlock customers’ desired business outcomes and the services products required to meet those desired incomes. Leverages desired outcomes to drive critical services sales negotiations. Incorporates deal levers into the discussion to trade during the negotiation to ultimately create a powerful value proposition for the customer and Udemy.
• Customer Centricity: The ability to put the customer at the core of every decision, process, and interaction—prioritizing their needs, preferences, and experiences to build long-term trust and value. It involves empathy, active listening, data-informed decision-making, and a commitment to delivering solutions that genuinely benefit the customer while supporting business outcomes.
• Strategic Vision: Skilled at crafting long-term customer growth plans, leveraging multi-threading strategies to deepen relationships, and aligning Udemy’s unique professional services value proposition to specific client objectives.

About this role

We are seeking a driven and experienced Professional Services Sales Consultant to join our team, supporting both large enterprise clients (25k+ employees) and commercial clients (1k+ employees). You’ll specialize in identifying, positioning, and closing strategic professional services engagements—including learning consulting, content curation, skills-gap analysis, tailored workforce training programs, and implementation services. Success in this role requires an ability to navigate complex client environments, build executive-level relationships, and deliver clear value propositions that align with strategic organizational goals.

What you’ll be doing

• Identify, qualify, and pursue professional services opportunities within existing and new large enterprise accounts.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams (Professional Services Delivery, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Marketing, Product, Deal Desk, Legal, and executives) to develop and deliver comprehensive proposals tailored to client objectives.
• Engage stakeholders at multiple levels, establishing trust-based, strategic relationships to deeply understand client business challenges and position Udemy's professional services solutions as essential to their long-term success.
• Create and execute strategic territory and account-specific plans to consistently meet and exceed professional services sales targets.
• Lead end-to-end negotiations, manage complex contracting processes, and secure agreements efficiently and accurately.
• Continuously gather market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback, sharing findings proactively with the broader team to enhance strategic positioning and value.

What you’ll have

• Minimum of 9+ years experience successfully selling complex professional services engagements, consulting solutions, or similar B2B enterprise-level services
• Demonstrated track record in managing sophisticated sales cycles and consistently exceeding professional services revenue targets
• Proven success in solution selling, crafting customized engagements, and securing 6-figure+ professional services contracts
• Strong business acumen and strategic territory management skills, ensuring sustainable client relationships and repeat business
