Business Central Software Developer

The Role:

We are seeking a full-time Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Software Developer to support and enhance our Dynamics 365 F&O platform. This crucial role consults with organization Executive members to mold our ERP vision into integration to increase revenue & optimize internal productivity. A successful developer will be someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a passion for delivering technical solutions aligned with business objectives.

• Collaborate with business analysts to interpret, develop, and implement solution requirements to Executives
• Design, develop, and customize Business Central solutions to meet company requirements
• Analyze and estimate modification requests
• Writing code to extend all functional areas of Business Central
• Proven track record of successfully implementing and customizing ERP solutions
• Test functionality developed against business requirements
• Create modifications as requested
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing business central implementations including resolving issues.
• Serve as lead technical expert on all Business Central inquiries
• Integrate Business Central with other applications and services using API’s and web services.
• Conduct user training sessions and create technical documentations for customized solutions.
• Continuously improve and update system based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
• Collaborate with IT personnel to ensure the network architecture / design complies with relevant / necessary IT methods, processes, and requirements.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Technical Abilities:
  • Strong software development experience, ability to use development tools including Microsoft C/AL and .Net to develop solutions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV.
  • Strong database knowledge, in-depth understanding of MS SQL server, and able to use transact – SQL to develop stored procedures.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is required.
  • Power BI experience required.

• Education/Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Systems Engineering. Equivalent experience (7+ years) may be used in lieu of degree.
  • Microsoft Dynamics Business Central certification preferred. Minimum 5 years of previous experience required.
• Language Ability:
  • Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or governmental documents. Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the public. Bilingual preferred.
• Reasoning Ability:
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
