We are seeking an Accounting Developer with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Cloud (BCC) and custom extension development. This role requires more than general ERP experience — we need someone with hands-on experience building, extending, and maintaining BCC customizations, extensions, and integrations within a modern software development lifecycle.
You will work at the intersection of finance and engineering, developing solutions that automate accounting workflows, extend financial system functionality, and improve data accuracy and operational efficiency.

- Design, develop, and maintain custom extensions and AL code within Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Cloud.
- Build and optimize integrations between Business Central and internal/external systems.
- Automate accounting processes: reconciliation, reporting, journal processing, approvals, data syncs, and month-end workflows.
- Collaborate with finance teams to translate accounting requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS, internal controls, and audit-ready data flows.
- Design and maintain APIs, backend logic, and data models supporting financial operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Business Central customizations or financial data accuracy.
- Contribute to documentation, testing, and version control across finance-related development projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience developing within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Cloud (BCC), including custom extension development using AL.
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals: ledgers, journal entries, financial statements, accruals, consolidations, etc.
- Experience integrating Business Central with third-party accounting or ERP tools (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Proficiency in SQL and database management.
- Experience working with REST APIs, data pipelines, and systems integrations.
- Solid experience with modern software development processes (version control, testing, CI/CD).
Nice to have:
- Strong portfolio of Business Central customizations, extensions, page modifications, reports, or workflows.
- Experience with Dynamics 365, Odoo, NetSuite, or other ERP customization frameworks.
- Experience with financial reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Background in fintech, SaaS, or enterprise software environments.
- Accounting certifications (CPA, CMA) are a plus.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling.
