- Develop and ship groundbreaking products at the intersection of hardware, software, and content.
- Responsible for taking breakthroughs and delivering them to market at scale.
- Design, develop, and test kernel sub-systems and device drivers.
- Work closely with the system engineering, hardware, and QA teams in addition to the company’s manufacturing partners.
- Participate in design reviews and code reviews for the software team.
- Participate in reviews of block diagrams and schematics with the hardware team.
- Understand both hardware and the Linux kernel.
- Design, develop, and support device security and secure manufacturing processes.
- Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. permitted.
- Requires a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and 4 years of work experience in job offered or a computer-related occupation. Requires 4 years of experience in the following:
- Writing code in C
- Contributing to large scale software development
- Developing algorithms and high-performance firmware and software
- Kernel development for industrial and consumer electronic products
- Embedded firmware development on X86 and arm platforms
- Debugging low level firmware leveraging tools such as JTAG
- Platform security, device security, secure boot, trusted execution environment, cryptography.
Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
