United States onlyThe Johnson Controls Global Cyber Security (GCS) team is continuing to develop resources and capabilities to address the ever-changing cybersecurity threat landscape! We are seeking a Security Operations Manager that will be a cyber security subject matter expert capable of partnering across functional disciplines to bring clarity to trends within the Information Security Risk landscape. This is a remote position for a US based candidate.
How you will do it
- Lead Security Operations and Incident Response practices for the North America region
- Ensure incidents are mitigated/remediate in a timely manner through collaboration and coordination with Enterprise Partners and Stakeholders
- Develop and contribute to Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, and other proactive programs to track, detect, and respond to new and emerging threats
- Conduct continuous process improvement for Security Operations and Incident Response processes
- Collect, track, measure, and report Security Operations and Incident Response metrics
- Identify, evaluate, recommend, and implement processes, procedures, and tools to enhance existing Security Operations and Incident Response capabilities
- Manage team member workloads to focus on priorities
What you will need
- 2-3 years of experience in the leadership and management of technical teams and individuals and talent development
- 8+ years of experience with Incident Response, Security Operations, Incident Response, or related Cyber Security field
- Advanced experience in threat intelligence, threat hunting, threat detection and enterprise/cloud security
- Ability to recognize common and advanced attacker tools, tactics, and procedures and implement effective countermeasures
- Experience with EDR, SIEM, and other cyber security toolset
HIRING SALARY RANGE:$120,000 - 145,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
