About the Role: You will provide expert development support as needed on a Replit web application that we’re building. We are a 10 year old‬ ‭ remote staffing business with over 100 clients and have built a unique AI driven system for businesses working with (human) Virtual‬‭ Assistants. We built out a functional prototype of our technology using a series of tools to prove the concept / prove product‬ market fit, and are now rapidly building a web application version using Replit Agent V2. This application will serve as a hybrid MVP‬ / basic V1 to provide a better customer and VA experience as we build out a more robust platform in 2025. We need a developer‬‭ that has expertise with Replit to support our in-house team in resolving stucks / managing more complex parts of the build out.‬

Key Responsibilities‬‭:

  1. Complex Functionality for Replit‬ - We’ve built a robust Product Requirements Document and associated development plan to‬‭ build this in Replit Agent V2. But sometimes certain functionality doesn’t get built successfully in Replit and a more hands on‬‭ approach is needed to make it work. You will be responsible for accomplishing that based on your development experience.‬
  2. Planning / Collaboration‬ - We may need to adapt parts of our PRD to be more suitable to Replit’s functionality. You will be‬‭ responsible for determining how to best accomplish the goals of the PRD within Replit.‬
  3. Prototype vs Production Sustainability‬ - While this is being built on Replit, it will be a system that our Clients and VAs rely on‬‭ for their day to day work. You will be responsible for flagging areas of concern and ensuring the system is built in a reliable way.‬

Requirements

Mission based: ( * are required)‬

  1. * Strong programming skills with real-world experience writing and shipping production code - without AI assistance.‬
  2. * Deep experience with AI-powered software development - i.e. Cursor, Windsurf, Replit, etc.‬
  3. * Technical experience building on OpenAI APIs.‬
  4. Experience working with cross functional cofounding teams - including non coders that are involved in technical work.‬
  5. Proven bias of building for short‬‭ and‬‭ long term -‬‭ high-leverage, modular systems, balancing technical debt vs momentum.‬
