Job Title: Developer with Cursor Experience - Focused AI Development

Location: Remote

Working Hours: US Business Hours

About the Role:

You will provide expert development support on a web application we’re building, where Cursor is your primary development tool. We are a 10-year-old remote staffing company with over 100 clients, and we’ve built a unique AI-driven system to support businesses working with (human) Virtual Assistants.

After validating the concept with a working prototype, we're now rapidly building a production-grade web app. This next phase is focused on delivering a stable, scalable MVP that enhances the experience for both clients and VAs—and you’ll be the primary builder bringing it to life.

You’ll work closely with our product lead to develop new features, integrate AI-driven workflows, and push the boundaries of what’s possible with AI-assisted development. Your work will directly impact how users interact with our platform, and your ability to code quickly and cleanly with the aid of Cursor will be a key driver of our success.

Key Responsibilities‬‭:

  • Lead Development: Build core features for our AI-native product using the stack below.
  • AI-Driven Coding: Use Cursor as your primary development environment.
  • Collaborative Buildout: Partner with our product lead (JC) to scope, build, and ship features that align with product goals.
  • Systems Integration: Connect our existing Python-based microservices into the overall platform.
  • Product Ownership: Write clean, modular code with an eye for performance and maintainability.

Tech Stack:

You’ll be working on a modern, AI-powered web app that includes:

  • Frontend: Next.js, TailwindCSS, Shadcn, Framer Motion
  • Backend: Node.js / Next.js, Postgres (via Supabase), Drizzle ORM, Server Actions
  • AI Integrations: Python Microservices using CrewAI, n8n (already built, needs integration)
  • Authentication: Clerk
  • Payments: Stripe
  • Analytics: PostHog
  • Deployment:
    • Next.js: Vercel
    • Python: Railway

Requirements

Required:

  • Proven experience independently writing and shipping full-stack production code, with or without the use of AI tools. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to architect, build, and deploy applications without relying solely on AI assistance.
  • Deep usage of AI-powered development tools—especially Cursor.
  • Strong familiarity with OpenAI’s APIs and agent-based frameworks like CrewAI or similar.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, including non-technical stakeholders.
  • Startup mindset: fast-paced, iterative, results-driven.
