Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement a clear vision and roadmap for internal application development strategy aligned with organizational goals.

• Lead and manage the internal engineering teams and contractors responsible for internal applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.

• Drive the development, customization, and integration of Salesforce and other internal applications to meet the needs of business stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including, Sales, Professional Services, Product Development and Finance to understand their requirements and deliver effective solutions.

• Develop and implement best practices for software development, deployment, and maintenance, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.

• Identify opportunities for innovation within the internal systems and processes and look outward to provide best in class solutions and practices.

• Manage application / platform project timelines, budgets, and resources and capacity, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

• Mentor and develop engineering team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.

• Direct the team utilizing KPI’s and data to inform decision making.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.

• Manage budget across applications, projects and services within a portfolio.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

• Proven experience managing, innovating on and optimizing Salesforce.

• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of global engineers.
