The Associate Marketing Manager for Customer Marketing will strategically develop and handle customer marketing campaigns for GDII along the customer lifecycle of customer success (activation/usage), attach (x-/upsell) and renewal (prevention/retention), using both analytical and qualitative insights.
In this role, you join a skilled team of marketing managers, writers, designers, product experts, business analysists and data specialists who collaboratively develop and complete marketing campaigns based on a strategy driven by the Marketing and Market Directors. This involves working closely with GTM teams and channel managers in order to coordinate timing, ensure consistent product positioning, and timely execution and success against strategy. True success will come from driving and implementing marketing campaigns to help entrepreneurs everywhere be successful in their ventures and drive revenue growth for GoDaddy.
What you'll get to do...
- Work closely with GTM teams and channel managers in order to coordinate timing, ensure consistent product positioning, and timely execution and success against strategy
- Strategically develop and lead customer marketing campaigns for 123 Reg and DEM along the customer lifecycle of customer success (activation/usage), attach (x-/upsell) and renewal (prevention/retention), using both analytical and qualitative insights
- Identify campaigns (one-off / trigger based) that align to the efficient customer journey, contact strategy and messaging prioritisation to drive value for GoDaddy’s customers
- Partner with marketing / market directors to address seen opportunities by defining omni-channel, multi-step, marketing strategies and messages that improve the customer experience, personalise messaging and drive value for customers and the business. This includes continuously optimising existing campaigns
- Lead one of the 3 lifecycle pods of customer success (activation/usage), attach (x-/upsell) or renewal (prevention/retention)
- Define target groups and ensure the timely selection of customers either through partnering with our operational campaign management team or through our campaign management tool independently
- Take charge of being responsible for the implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels, including Email, Messaging, and Notifications, to guarantee the magnificent delivery of personalised messages to our valued customers
- Partner with the creative and product teams to design messaging strategies and build new marketing content which align with opportunities
- Review, provide feedback and approve campaign creative and messaging
- Measure campaign impact by clearly defining campaign goals, key performance indicators, and providing reporting with a deep dive overview to partners on campaign performance
- Drive campaign performance based on critical metrics and in close collaboration with Digital and Care Channel Managers
- Partner closely with our global Customer Experience and Marketing colleagues on global, global customized and tailored campaigns across GDII markets
- Ensure visibility of campaign status and execution for internal partners. This includes management of roadmap, performance tracker and confluence space as well as Jira board for intake management
- Identify any gaps in marketing capabilities needed to implement the optimal marketing strategy
- Understand GoDaddy’s business goals and identify areas to optimize the company’s revenue, margin as well as customer experience. Prioritise asks within your work stream in line with pod and company goals
- Demonstrate a positive demeanour and flexibility to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with changing needs
- Support and share standard methodologies with other marketing managers within and cross-pod as needed
- For DEM lead CA and AU market specific comms, as well as wider DEM/GDII regions where applicable
- Be responsible for a slate of special projects designed to supervise progress, improve customer experience, identify gaps in service, document lifecycle strategies, define management processes etc
- Conduct experimentation to aid optimisation of campaigns, scale wins where appropriate
- Lead all service, prevention/retention email campaigns inclusive of all integration and product termination comms for 123 Reg. This includes ad hoc bulk sends as well as creation or updates to triggered emails, supporting customer lifecycle improvements
- For 123 Reg establish and handle 3rd party relationships as part of loyalty program for retention and new customer acquisition
Your experience should include...
- 2+ years marketing campaign execution experience
- The ability to draw out insights and make data driven decisions with “test & learn” approach
- A customer-centric view, with ability to translate customer insights into strategies and executions
- Ability to build & maintain strong internal relationships with crucial team members in order to collaborate and drive the overall business
- Skilled in Tableau, GA, Workfront, Figma and Hivemind
