The Opportunity

As our Director of Demand Generation, you’ll be the driving force behind pipeline creation. You’ll lead strategy and execution across digital, outbound, and field — and directly manage an Outbound Growth Analyst and an Events Manager.
You’ll work closely with Sales, RevOps, and agency partners to build and optimize high-impact campaigns that convert.
This is a player-coach role — ideal for someone who can think strategically but also jump in to write email copy, QA a LinkedIn ad, or build a report in Salesforce. You’ll help us grow pipeline with precision — not noise — and ensure we’re engaging the right buyers with the right message at the right time.

What You’ll Do

Pipeline Campaign Ownership

Develop, execute, iterate and own persona-driven demand generation programs across digital, outbound, and field.
Partner with Product Marketing to align messaging and content strategy.
Launch and optimize campaigns focused on generating and accelerating pipeline — not just leads.

Measurement Optimization

Partner with Marketing Ops to track campaign performance, funnel conversion, and ROI.
Build dashboards and provide regular reporting to company key stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce CAC.

Digital Marketing

Own strategy and execution of paid digital programs across LinkedIn, Google, and other platforms (with agency support).
Build and optimize nurture flows, retargeting programs, and ABM campaigns with marketing operations.
Analyze performance and continuously test creative, audiences, and channels.

Outbound Enablement ABM

Partner with Sales and Marketing Ops to align outbound strategy, targets, and messaging.
Write outbound email sequences, social copy, and call scripts.
Use tools to drive account-focused outreach.

Field Event Marketing

Collaborate with the Events Manager to run a scalable, high-ROI event program — including executive dinners, virtual roundtables, conferences, etc.
Align event strategy with campaign goals, campaign messages and outbound plays.

Team Management

Directly manage and coach:
A Strategic SDR, responsible for outbound prospecting and pipeline generation using AI and tooling to drive scalability and effectiveness
An Events Manager, responsible for field events, and trade showsSet clear goals and KPIs, provide feedback and support professional growth.

What You Bring

6+ years of experience in B2B SaaS demand generation, with a mix of strategic and hands-on execution.
Strong grasp of marketing funnel dynamics and pipeline generation best practices.
Excellent campaign-building and copywriting skills.
Data-driven with strong analytical chops and comfort in performance reporting.
Highly collaborative, organized, and excited to build in a fast-moving but stable environment.
Bonus if you’ve marketed to Talent Acquisition, HR, or Engineering audiences.

CoderPad is a simple yet powerful online technical assessment software that makes it easy to interview in the candidate’s language of choice so hiring managers can quickly get a quality signal of an engineer’s skills. We empower customers around the world to screen and interview best-in-class engineers with our comprehensive and flexible technology, responsive customer success team, and devotion to a great candidate experience. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in San Francisco, CoderPad serves over 3,300 customers and has hosted more than 3 million technical interviews in 30+ languages.

Our Story

Vincent Woo, a software engineer with experience working with some of the best technology teams in the world at companies like Google and Amazon, became frustrated during interviews where it was obvious that developers would have done better if they could just run their code and debug in real time. Even with all of that recruiting power, the process of screening technical talent was still extremely manual, time consuming for hiring managers and intimidating for great candidates. He also saw how easily the process biased towards engineers with better resumes than technical skills.

So he designed CoderPad as an alternative to both the antiquated whiteboard and feature-heavy, expensive HR software. It gave small startups that lacked the high-end tools and resources of their larger competitors access to great technology to screen and compete for talent and gave large companies the ability to reliably collaborate via live paired programming interviews with candidates all over the world.

The company grew rapidly via word of mouth from happy developers–both those conducting interviews but more often, those who had a great interview experience. Along the way we teamed up with Frédéric Desmoulins, founder and CEO of CodinGame. CodinGame also deeply understood how the hiring process was biased towards engineers with better resumes than technical skills and was on a mission to promote a more inclusive tech community.

Today we are a global team with a comprehensive technical hiring platform that includes asynchronous assessments, take-home projects and live paired programming interviews. We strive to build technology that gets the right people hired — and moves hiring beyond resumes, college logos, and personal connections. We focus on our users and candidates above all else – never forgetting our roots of being simple, easy to use, and reliable.

Our Values

At CoderPad, we stand for:

  • Fairness – We want the best person to get the job – not the best resume or interviewer

  • Simplicity – We make it easy and simple to go through the technical interview process

  • Transparency – We strive to make expectations clear to both candidates and interviewers

  • Curiosity – We are always seeking to understand more about each other and the world

  • Directness – We tell it like it is and avoid jargon

  • Weirdness – We embrace what makes us unique and love our oddities

Our Culture

CoderPad will forever remain devoted to being a company for developers, built by developers. We believe what makes us different makes us smarter. Building a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable organization is good for us, our customers, and our community. Our employees have the opportunity to help people get jobs and grow their companies every single day. And, we’re hiring.
