Unicorn Role Overview:

Whether it's balancing books, preparing financial reports, managing accounts payable/receivable, or reconciling statements, you'll play a critical role in keeping our clients' financial operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Do (Depending on Client Needs):
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, invoicing, and reconciliation
- Manage accounts payable and receivable with accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist with payroll processing and benefits tracking
- Track and categorize expenses for budget planning
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Support tax preparation with accurate financial documentation
- Maintain clean, well-organized digital records
- Liaise with external CPAs or accountants as needed
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance support roles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP preferred)
- High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Previous remote work experience is a plus
- Degree or certification in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Finance (preferred)

- Accounting Software: QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Xero, Wave, FreshBooks, NetSuite, Zoho Books
- Payroll: Gusto, ADP, Paychex, or similar
- CRM/Project Tools: Monday.com, ClickUp, Notion, Google Workspace
- Spreadsheets & Docs: Excel, Google Sheets
- Communication: Slack, Zoom, Gmail
Time Commitment & Schedule:
- Part-Time or Full-Time (depending on client)
- Schedule: U.S. Business Hours (exact schedule TBD per client)
