Yvonne Moira Andersen is a seasoned people partner with over a decade of experience in fostering positive workplace environments through strategic human resources management. Holding a Master of Science in Global Human Resources Management from Portsmouth University, achieved with distinction, and a CIPD Level 7 certification.

Yvonne excels in aligning HR strategies with organisational goals. Her tenure at Northam Platinum in South Africa highlighted her expertise in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) by enhancing employee engagement and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks. Known for her ability to develop innovative solutions, such as an attendance management system in collaboration with an IT firm. Yvonne is adept at using data-driven insights to address challenges in workplace culture. Her strategic advisory role is underscored by her successful coordination of initiatives like the Women in Mining and employment equity committee elections, significantly bolstering employee representation and trust.

With technical proficiency in tools such as, Power BI, Excel, SAP and Zapier (AI automation), Yvonne is committed to leveraging technology to enhance HR operations and ensure a supportive environment where employees thrive.

Yvonne took an educational career break to study a full time master's degree with the University of Portsmouth and to be with her family during a difficult time. She has successfully completed this degree and is now actively seeking her next role with UK based companies who hire remotely, she is also open to relocation as she is a UK citizen living in South Africa.

Currently, she is in the process of improving and refreshing her data analysis skills through Power BI, Power Query and Excel Dashboard data visualisation training. Yvonne is curious about learning AI tools for improved efficiency and has experience with LLMs such as ChatGPT, Claude AI and Gemini.
