What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a patient accounts role where I can strengthen compliant billing, denials/root-cause resolution, and A/R performance. I want a team that values accurate documentation, payer follow-up, and clear patient communication.

I’m a Patient Account Coordinator focused on accurate, compliant billing and strong revenue integrity. I complete claims and billing documentation according to governmental regulations, agency policies, and department guidelines while reviewing denial trends, root cause, and A/R impact.

I resolve account issues by investigating insurance credit balances, processing electronic remittances and bank deposits, and coordinating with specialty payers and other facilities to ensure compliance and payment. I also transfer charges between patient and facility accounts as required, escalate problem accounts, and lead the appeal process.

Earlier in my career, I provided front-office patient services, handled incoming calls, updated insurance/demographics and statement systems, and supported care coordination by completing referrals, obtaining authorizations, and reviewing benefits with patients.
