What I'm looking for

I'm looking to continue supporting newcomers, refugees, and diverse communities through client-centred case management, settlement services, program coordination, and partnerships that improve access to employment, housing, training, and long-term stability.

I'm currently coordinating settlement, employment, and community services for newcomers and refugees at Polycultural Immigrant and Community Services in Mississauga. I conduct intake and needs assessments, make referrals, maintain compliant case documentation, and facilitate workshops that support integration and long-term stability.

Previously at ACHĒV, I provided frontline community engagement across Peel Region, documented client concerns, and worked with teams and stakeholders to remove barriers to services. I bring a client-centred approach to crisis response, advocacy, follow-up, and system navigation.

At Saint Andrew’s Refugee Services in Cairo, I progressed from Program Officer to External Projects Coordinator and Deputy Director of External Projects. I led refugee education, livelihoods, and integration programs; supervised teams and consultants; built partnerships with NGOs, embassies, and international agencies; and managed grant-funded proposals, reporting, monitoring, and evaluation.

My background also includes public relations, event coordination, fundraising support, Arabic-English translation, and community capacity building. I'm completing Fundraising Management studies while drawing on an MA in Migration and Refugee Studies.
