What I'm looking for

Seeking a role in social services or housing coordination where I can utilize my skills in case management and community outreach to support affordable housing initiatives and advocate for vulnerable populations.

I am a dedicated professional with a strong background in social services and housing coordination. My experience includes working as an Intensive Housing & Community Outreach Coordinator and a Housing Coordinator/Landlord Liaison, where I managed housing programs, conducted client assessments, and developed relationships with landlords and community partners.

I hold a BA in Sociology & Criminology from the University of Western Ontario and have completed various certifications, including Standard First Aid & CPR/AED and Trauma Informed Care. My commitment to advocating for affordable housing is evident through my project work, such as developing an advocacy strategy for seniors' housing.

In addition to my professional roles, I have experience in customer service and administration, where I honed my skills in maintaining accurate records and providing empathetic support. I am fluent in English, proficient in French, and speak Amharic, which enhances my ability to connect with diverse communities.
