Valeria Berrospid

I am a recent graduate in Electronic Systems Engineering Technology who pursues hands-on RF and microwave system work with practical lab experience. I solve real-world signal integrity and wireless communication challenges through measurement-driven design.

I designed, assembled, and tested a 50 MHz CW transceiver using low-inductance construction techniques and built quarter-wavelength monopole antennas that met size and impedance targets. I verified impedances near 50 ohms and maintained VSWR within a 2:1 ratio using network and spectrum analyzers.

I have performed 1-port and 2-port SOL/SOLT calibrations on VNAs, measured S-parameters of active and passive components, and used Smith charts and LogMag for tuning and analysis. I also designed and tuned a 440 MHz monopole for optimized S11 reflection coefficients.

In addition to RF projects, I designed PCBs for high-voltage tube operation and supported quality control processes, including First Article Inspections and dimensional verification. I bring disciplined test procedures, careful documentation, and a focus on reliability to engineering teams.
