At Currys, I set up and configure laptops, tablets, and other consumer technology. I also diagnose entry-level Windows, driver, malware, and software issues, and explain solutions in practical terms.
Through personal PC projects, I’ve built, maintained, and upgraded desktop PCs, selecting compatible components within a budget and managing the software. I’ve also restored laptops affected by corrupted Windows installations and missing network drivers.
On a personal troubleshooting project, I resolved connectivity issues across five mobile devices by manually configuring network channels to address an incompatible wireless setup. I use Rufus, vendor documentation, and trusted community resources to investigate unfamiliar faults.
I’m studying CompTIA A+ and Network+ while developing my IT fundamentals. My customer-facing experience includes technology support at Currys and service roles in retail and hospitality, and I’m seeking a Junior IT Technician or Support position where I can apply my practical troubleshooting skills and continue developing professionally.
