What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can combine patient-focused customer service with medical billing and administrative support—working in a team, following HIPAA and process standards, and growing in healthcare operations.

I’m a customer service oriented professional with medical assistant, medical billing, and retail experience, with a strong focus on coordinating workflows and communicating clearly with co-workers, patients, and staff.

In my current role at UF Health Jacksonville, I assist members via inbound and outbound calls, maintain patient scheduling, set appointments using established guidelines, and direct messages to the right personnel to support day-to-day practice operations.

Earlier experience includes customer service and administrative work across SNI Companies and Walmart, as well as medical billing responsibilities where I posted charges and payments, verified insurance eligibility, prepared and submitted claims, handled denials and appeals, and worked with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurances using ICD-10 and CPT coding.

I take pride in following policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistent quality, safeguarding patient privacy and confidentiality through HIPAA compliance. I’m also comfortable supporting clinical operations, including medical administrative support tasks such as appointment scheduling and accurate medical record management.
