What I'm looking for
I’m a customer service oriented professional with medical assistant, medical billing, and retail experience, with a strong focus on coordinating workflows and communicating clearly with co-workers, patients, and staff.
In my current role at UF Health Jacksonville, I assist members via inbound and outbound calls, maintain patient scheduling, set appointments using established guidelines, and direct messages to the right personnel to support day-to-day practice operations.
Earlier experience includes customer service and administrative work across SNI Companies and Walmart, as well as medical billing responsibilities where I posted charges and payments, verified insurance eligibility, prepared and submitted claims, handled denials and appeals, and worked with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurances using ICD-10 and CPT coding.
I take pride in following policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistent quality, safeguarding patient privacy and confidentiality through HIPAA compliance.
