Taylor Rife
@taylorrife
Administrative specialist skilled in patient intake, EHR records, and medical billing support.
What I'm looking for
I’m an Administrative Specialist who keeps care moving smoothly—from greeting patients and completing check-in/out, to maintaining accurate patient records in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. I’m careful with details like insurance verification and securing pre-authorizations or referrals when needed.
I also support the financial and operational side of care by processing billing and co-pays and assisting with medical billing or coding support. I coordinate communication between patients, physicians, and medical staff, and help clients maintain and schedule virtual appointments, including Telehealth and Zoom.
In high-need situations, I work directly with crisis coordinators, peers, and case management to support people under psychological distress, harmful ideations, and substance abuse. I also help clients access Medicaid coverage and other financial assistance, such as sliding scale support.
Before my current role, I served as a Special Education Teacher’s Aide (and worked with special needs students and their IEP teams), while also earning certifications as a Certified Medical Assistant. That combination of patient-focused care and structured support helps me stay calm, communicate clearly, and deliver consistent results.
