At Rhode Island College, Institute for Education in Healthcare, I directed a $2.3 million HRSA-funded workforce initiative and built a network spanning 43 healthcare and community organizations. I also designed and launched a federally registered Community Health Worker apprenticeship.
I supported 225 CHWs, including 98 apprentices and 54 experienced CHWs completing advanced development. I coordinated training and provided individualized technical assistance to help employers and partners address workforce needs and implementation barriers.
At Our Lady Queen of Peace Retreat Center, Catholic Diocese of Memphis, I lead programs, staff, partnerships, budgeting, and organizational execution. My experience also includes Medicaid policy analysis at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and research and proposal writing for HRSA grant applications.
