@shirleycastillo
Senior administrative assistant who streamlines complex calendars, meetings, and documentation with precision and energy.
What I'm looking for
I’m a highly experienced administrative professional who thrives on proactive communication, simplification, and prioritization. I bring a detail-oriented, can-do approach to keeping work moving smoothly—especially when many competing needs land at once.
At Genentech, I supported five Business Partners simultaneously by managing all calendaring and administrative needs, resolving conflicts, and coordinating high-priority commitments. I also provided meeting assistance (WebEx, PowerPoint presentations, and catering), handled travel/lodging and conference attendance, processed expense reports, and edited and formatted documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Earlier at Genentech, I worked across Special Projects and case management, converting confidential patient case documents from paper to digital, completing drug safety monitoring and tracking in accordance with SOP’s, and converting a SPOC case management system database to SalesForce format. I followed FDA regulations and policies to protect patient confidentiality, and I delivered reimbursement support that expanded customer referrals in the territory.
Before Genentech, I served as a Customer Service Representative for the Department of Motor Vehicles, interpreting and applying vehicle regulations and policies in a fast-paced environment. I also co-founded a family resource center and have served as a peer counselor and parent advocate, which reinforced my commitment to collaboration and results.
