Sherene Leach

I’m a goal-oriented professional with experience in customer call centers, medical care facilities, and pre-school teaching. I approach my work with a sunny disposition, upbeat, and positive attitude, and I’m extremely computerliterate with extensive soft proficiency across a wide variety of applications.

Since April 2005, I’ve worked as a Hazard Processor II, processing inbound calls from homeowners and making outbound calls to homeowners/insurance agents to update policies and obtain missing information. I enter updated information/changes to policies, ensure claims are processed in a timely manner to meet or exceed Assurant standards, and verify policy information while dispersing premium payments from escrow accounts.

In November 2024, I took on a Customer Service Representative role with Map Communications, Inc., handling inbound part-time agent work and taking 50 to 60 calls per night for different companies. I focus on staying organized under volume, communicating clearly, and resolving issues efficiently while maintaining consistent service quality.

Earlier in my career, I supported residents and patient care as a Resident Assistant (3rd shift) and as a Medical Assistant Screener at Stokes Regional Eye Center. I also taught 3-year-old children as a 3k Teacher, cared for up to 15 students, and created curriculum that challenged students to think outside the box—always modeling inclusivity and unconditional love.
