At NYC Public Schools, I’ve supported students with varied academic, linguistic, and learning needs across long-term vacancy assignments in grades 5–8 and AP Psychology. I adapt explanations, materials, scaffolds, and pacing to improve access to instruction.
At VERTEX PARTNERSHIP ACADEMIES, I taught English 10 and 11, including IB English A: Lang & Lit and Honors coursework. I planned reading, writing, discussion, and close-reading instruction, and used modeling, guided practice, and revision to strengthen comprehension and written expression.
I’m currently pursuing an M.S. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages at MERCY UNIVERSITY through the New York State ESOL Pre-K–12 initial certification pathway. My background also includes advising international clients on real estate and investment decisions, and I bring native English, near-native Spanish, and fluent Portuguese.
