What I'm looking for

I’m looking to teach and lead with a team that values standards-based curriculum, collaboration, and differentiated support. I want meaningful student outcomes in a high-needs, diverse setting, with opportunities to coordinate programs and strengthen instruction.

I’m an English/ELA educator with experience designing instruction for diverse, high-needs classrooms—from bilingual language learning to ENL collaboration and differentiated support. I build engaging, standards-aligned lessons and curriculum that help students access rigorous expectations.

As a 7th Grade ELA Teacher and Team Leader, I designed and implemented grade curriculum, wrote and revised ELA curriculum to support district goals and Next Generation Learning Standards, and partnered with ENL co-teachers and interdisciplinary teams to create collaborative lessons and school-wide programming. I also organized and supervised before and after school programs, overseeing staff, schedules, and student participation.

My background also includes teaching high school English across varied proficiency levels, long-term substitute work in co-taught Social Studies, and adjunct instruction in English and Writing using Canvas LMS. I bring strong classroom management and curriculum planning skills, plus leadership experience from serving as an Outdoor Education Director and Counselor.
