What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a content role that flexes and stretches my current skills (editing, writing, strategy, and some soft skills like interviewing and mentoring) while in the security of a supportive, team-focused environment. A role that allows for and encourages an experimental approach to with content.

I have a vast editorial career spanning nearly 15 years. My experience is beautifully all over the place from copy editing internal communications at an insurance company to assigning cultural essays and reporting at VICE Media to building out an editorial content program for Shopify’s enterprise merchants. I have managed and mentored freelance writers, handled content calendars, scheduling and publishing content, and paying writers. I have also worked as a cultural correspondent for Daily VICE, moderated panels, appeared in a documentary about Drake, and produced case study videos and a video series for social channels.

I’m driven by telling other peoples’ stories, from emerging artists to engaged, scrappy business owners. I believe in my skill and deep love for storytelling can inform longform B2B content; that it can be useful and written through this narrative lens.
