Sarah Angers
@sarahangers
English teacher and instructional leader who uses data, PLCs, and ethical AI to improve literacy outcomes.
What I'm looking for
I’m an English teacher and instructional leader with a Master of Instructional Leadership (4.0 overall GPA) and a strong record of strengthening literacy through coaching, curriculum alignment, and assessment-driven decision-making.
In my current role as a Specialist & Lead English I Teacher, I lead team instruction and PLC facilitation using the Key to Effective PLCs framework, support teachers through feedback and data analysis, and build TEK-level instructional resources and Eduphoria/Google Sheets data reports to guide planning. I also pilot ethical AI integration strategies (MagicSchool AI), explicitly teach digital citizenship, participate in dyslexia screening and walkthroughs, and lead EOC writing calibration to ensure scoring alignment.
Across prior campus leadership roles, I’ve coached teams, designed formative assessment systems (exit tickets, CFAs, data trackers), and launched new-teacher induction and intervention structures to accelerate achievement. Earlier, as a Regional Program Director/Senior Campus Director/Deputy Director of Training at Citizen Schools, I led large instructional programs, facilitated 50+ professional development sessions annually, and built onboarding and coaching systems adopted across multiple campuses.
