I’m looking to support and administer the Alation Data Catalogue Platform, focusing on metadata quality, data governance, and reliable production operations—using SQL investigations, API troubleshooting, monitoring, and RCA to reduce incidents and improve customer outcomes.

I’m an Application Support Engineer with 6+ years supporting enterprise SaaS platforms, troubleshooting complex production issues, and driving faster resolution through strong SQL-based investigations, log analysis, and root cause analysis (RCA). I manage REST API integrations, validate data quality, and support authentication and access management across production systems, while partnering with engineering teams to resolve customer-facing escalations.

In my current role, I support enterprise data catalogue and metadata management initiatives by validating metadata and backend records using SQL and application logs, onboarding enterprise data sources, and troubleshooting metadata synchronization, ingestion, and platform performance. I also support data governance workflows by maintaining metadata accuracy, business definitions, and ownership documentation, monitor platform health with Splunk/Kibana/ELK Stack, and develop operational runbooks; I’ve reduced average incident resolution time, improved customer satisfaction through proactive troubleshooting/documentation, and resolved complex multi-system API integration issues.
