I’m an operations and program coordination professional with more than 20 years of experience in universities, nonprofits, a global technology company, and international schools. My work is keeping programs organized, on budget, and on schedule. I like building the systems, checklists, and procedures that let a team run smoothly.
Some of my proudest work:
Large-scale coordination. I managed 13 staff and 140+ volunteers for a five-day international conference of 16,000 participants. I co-developed a centralized system to coordinate volunteer staffing requests across all the program teams.
Budgets and administration. At the University of Illinois I managed 7–10 program budgets, grants, and financial reporting, and supervised student staff. At a startup church I set up accounting systems, purchasing procedures, vendor management, and policy manuals.
Vendors and contractors. I coordinated 180+ projects a month with 50+ freelance editors, handling schedules, contracts, and invoicing, and I planned a 250+ person academic conference with vendors across finance, IT, catering, housing, and travel.
Global, remote teamwork. I spent 8+ years at Apple, working fully remotely for more than seven of them. I worked daily with cross-functional teams across languages and cultures, including Engineering and Management, and I trained new hires on procedures.
Nonprofit leadership. I co-founded a nonprofit supporting children’s education in Sri Lanka and served as board secretary for ten years. I prepared board agendas and reports and led grant writing and fundraising.
I’m a native English speaker with native-level French. I also have professional working Sinhala and basic Spanish and Arabic. I hold a Master’s degree in Intercultural Service, Leadership, and Management. I’m currently teaching in Morocco, and I’m now looking for remote operations coordinator, program coordinator, or program manager roles.
I’m especially interested in organizations working in international education, nonprofits, and global teams, where careful organization and clear cross-cultural communication matter. I enjoy being the person who keeps the details, deadlines, and people moving in the same direction.
