What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a senior product design or design systems role where I can solve complex problems and shape accessible, intuitive experiences. I value collaboration, clear ownership and supportive leadership, with opportunities to stay hands-on, guide design decisions, support other designers and grow.

I’m a Senior Product Designer specialising in design systems and complex digital products, with experience across financial services, SaaS and tourism.

At Capitec, one of South Africa’s largest banks, I’ve built a substantial part of the app design system and helped shape its library governance. The system supports 23 designers, with 242 components, 904 variants and 99.6% adoption. My work combines hands-on component design with the structure and guidance that help teams use a shared system consistently as it grows.

Across product design, I turn complex requirements into clear, accessible experiences, working from discovery and problem definition through to detailed interaction design and delivery. I enjoy untangling complicated workflows, asking questions and working closely with designers, developers and stakeholders to find practical solutions.

For my next role, I’m looking to deepen my impact in design systems and product design, with opportunities to guide design decisions, support other designers and strengthen design practices. I’m also studying towards a Higher Certificate in Project Management to build on how I connect design, delivery and business priorities.

Outside work, you’ll usually find me gaming, playing tabletop games, tending to my plants or learning something new - generally while slightly over-caffeinated.
