I am a Marketing Strategist with 12+ years of experience developing and executing brand, customer engagement, growth and go-to-market strategies across financial services, media and telecommunications, hospitality, FMCG and professional services.

Throughout my career, I have worked across both strategic and executional marketing, translating business objectives into actionable campaigns, customer initiatives and brand experiences. I have developed 75+ marketing strategies and contributed to the rebranding and repositioning of 150+ retail locations. My experience includes brand strategy, integrated marketing, customer acquisition and engagement, digital marketing, campaign management, stakeholder management, market research, content strategy and performance analysis.

A significant part of my experience was gained within the media and telecommunications sector, where I worked across DStv, DStv for Business, MyDStv, DStv Stream and BoxOffice. I was involved in the end-to-end launch and nationwide implementation of DStv Stream, as well as initiatives designed to increase adoption and usage of the MyDStv App.

I am now intentionally expanding my career focus toward African growth marketing, market entry and regional market expansion. I am particularly interested in opportunities connected to intra-African trade, AfCFTA, investment promotion, market access, export development and helping businesses successfully expand across African markets.

I am passionate about understanding African consumers, cultures and markets and using those insights to help businesses identify commercial opportunities, strengthen market positioning and develop effective go-to-market strategies. I am particularly interested in working with African businesses scaling across the continent, as well as international companies seeking to enter or expand within African markets.

Alongside my established marketing experience, I am developing expertise in AI-powered marketing, digital growth, SEO, audience insights, content strategy, marketing automation and performance analytics. I am interested in the intersection of marketing, technology and emerging AI capabilities and how these can be applied to improve customer acquisition, discovery, engagement and business growth.

I am open to senior and strategic marketing opportunities, particularly remote, regional and cross-border roles where I can combine strategic thinking, commercial marketing expertise and an understanding of African markets. I am also interested in consulting and project-based opportunities involving market entry, growth strategy, brand positioning and regional expansion.
