What that's looked like in practice:
✔ 95%+ gross renewal, ~$48M retained annually, through a flat enterprise security spending cycle ✔ Saved a $2.5M federal account from churn by scoping and shipping custom patching capabilities against public-sector requirements ✔ Moved $3M ARR from perpetual on-prem to cloud subscription with zero value lost — building both the migration path and the datacenter management capability the cloud platform was missing ✔ Cut customer time-to-remediation ~20% by rebuilding remediation workflows around exploitability and business exposure rather than raw CVSS
Before Ivanti: product management at Microsoft on Endpoint Manager, shipping against a 200,000-asset internal estate as Customer Zero. Endpoint transformation architecture at HCLTech for enterprises across Australia, Dubai, the US and Europe. And a decade in the field at Microsoft and IBM, on the receiving end of every product decision someone else made.
The through-line: there is almost always a gap between how a security product is designed and how customers actually run it at 2am during an incident. I've stood on both sides of that gap. I build to close it.
