I am an accomplished bioinformatics leader with over a decade of experience in computational biology, machine learning, and cancer genomics. My journey has been marked by a proven track record of securing over $2M in research funding as a Principal Investigator, leading interdisciplinary teams, and publishing in high-impact journals such as Nature Medicine and Nature Communications. My strategic vision and expertise in AI-driven biomarker discovery are aimed at advancing organizational goals in the field of bioinformatics.

Currently, I serve as an Assistant Professor at The Wistar Institute and the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where I lead a research group of experienced data scientists and computational biologists. I have established collaborations with UPenn clinicians to translate biomarker discoveries into clinical trials and have initiated AI and computational work in diverse interdisciplinary projects.
