What I'm looking for

I'm looking to apply multimodal bioinformatics, machine learning, and molecular biology to data-centric research in immunology, neuroscience, or translational science, collaborating closely with research, engineering, and cross-functional teams.

I'm conducting bioinformatics analyses at Northwestern University across spatial transcriptomics, metagenomics, single-cell RNA sequencing, TCR sequencing, and ATAC-seq to investigate allergy and immunology. I also use generative pre-trained transformer models, including scGPT, to predict gene perturbations during influenza A infection.

Previously at Northwestern, I analyzed single-cell RNA sequencing and surface protein expression data to identify cellular and molecular signatures of childhood-onset asthma. At the University of Chicago, I used Python, exploratory analysis, logistic regression, and machine learning to study cognition, cardiovascular data, aging, and body mass index.

My neuroscience research has included RNA-seq analyses that identified a novel target gene in Alzheimer's disease models, validation in human postmortem tissue, and lentiviral rescue of dendritic complexity in primary neurons. During my PhD research, I developed open-source RNA-seq pipelines and investigated Parkinson's disease mechanisms through molecular, behavioral, and stereological studies.

I've also automated large-scale microscopy image analysis with Fiji/ImageJ, managed cell culture and confocal microscopy facilities, trained graduate students in cell culture techniques, and edited neuroscience and neurology research papers for more than 100 clients.
