@shukaichang
Bioinformatics researcher blending machine learning and biomedical data science.
What I'm looking for
I am a bioinformatics researcher with extensive experience applying machine learning and deep learning to biomedical data, including sequence pattern detection, image analysis, relation extraction from clinical notes, and synthesis of patient data. I have contributed to academic research, developed production web and mobile applications, and managed computational infrastructure across university and industry settings.
My work has produced peer-reviewed publications and awarded funding for big-data ecosystem design; I mentor students as a teaching assistant and continually refine models and pipelines using modern frameworks such as LangChain, HuggingFace, and Spark to drive translational research and practical deployments.
