Nicholas Baldwin
@nicholasbaldwin
I design and validate assessments and training for military talent decisions.
What I'm looking for
At DCS Corporation's Human Systems Division, I design and validate competency-based military officer assessments and training for the USAF and USSF. I lead major projects, manage three direct reports, and contribute technical work across additional efforts.
I've led the design of an innovative non-networked e-learning solution spanning 35 learning modules, supported test validation, and developed officer assessment readiness training. I also use AI for research and assessment-item generation, craft multidisciplinary government-contract proposals, and facilitate discussions with stakeholders at every level.
Before DCS, I spent five years as an Assistant Professor of Psychology and MA I-O Program Director at Roosevelt University, where I taught psychology, statistics, and research methods; advised student research; and guided students through internships. I also recruited, selected, retained, and supported students across MA I-O and dual-degree MA/MBA programs.
My work brings together 15 years of I-O psychology, 13 years of training and instructional design, psychometrics, mixed-methods research, and neuroscience research. I'm especially motivated by helping individuals and organizations develop talent through effective training, measurement, and strategic positioning.
