Jingyi Li
@jingyili
I am a PhD I-O psychologist specializing in AI-based assessments.
What I'm looking for
I am a PhD candidate in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Auburn University researching AI-based assessments, personnel selection, and assessment validation. My dissertation examines prompt/content relevance and the validity of AI-derived psychological trait scores.
I apply methods including machine learning, natural language processing, structural equation modeling, and factor analysis to advance assessment science. I have published and presented work on AI-inferred personality, vocational interests, and measurement development.
I have experience teaching statistics and analytics courses as Instructor of Record and serving as a graduate teaching assistant across topics such as personnel selection, leadership, and advanced analytics. I contribute to the field through peer review and active participation in SIOP and Academy of Management forums.
I seek to develop fair, valid, and practical AI-driven measurement tools for organizational settings and mentor students while collaborating on interdisciplinary research that bridges psychology and computational methods.
