I help walk with clients as they adjust to life housed after being unhoused. Duties include advocating for clients, connecting them to resources, helping them through Rapid Rehousing Rental assistance, teaching them how to budget and how to be a quality tenant through motivational interviewing. This job also includes filing, using the HMIS database, MiBridges Navigation, and home visits.

Worked as one-on-one Instructional Assistant at Holland High School. Tutored student, calmed down emotional issues as they came up, kept spreadsheet of behaviors and triggers, worked with them on independence and practical life skills, worked in special education classroom when student was absent and assisted teacher with class.

Summer Youth Outreach career connections program, Led a team of six at-risk youth, aged 14-17 on a work site, teaching them practical skills, how to work on a team, leadership skills, financial skills, how to build a resume, and mentorship.

Picked and Packed orders, kept track of inventory, filed orders, printed orders, trained group of five employees, did returns, phone calls with suppliers and mailing services, and presented numbers at meetings.

Did Americorps Summer Vista program as a food access associate at Community Action House, a non-profit food pantry and community outreach/assistance hub. Led and organized their food delivery system, did data entry, answered phones, directed people to what kind of assistance they needed, and did call-back check-ins with new guests.
