I’m looking for a bilingual patient-facing role where I can coordinate care with HIPAA-compliant systems, deliver empathetic communication, and support rare-disease/genetics journeys. I thrive in fast-paced, collaborative clinical environments.

I’m a bilingual Healthcare & Genetics Support Specialist focused on helping patients and families navigate complex medical and genetic journeys with clear, empathetic communication. I combine patient concierge experience with disciplined intake and follow-up workflows to support U.S.-based clinic operations.

In my LeadJuice role as a Patient Concierge-Bilingual Client Specialist, I served as a primary point of contact for questions related to care while maintaining confidential patient records in HIPAA-compliant CRM systems. I coordinate clinical intake, appointment scheduling, and follow-ups, guiding patients through available medical services and helping them find options aligned with their individual medical needs.

Since Mar 2023, my patient advocacy work has centered on rare diseases—especially amyloidosis. I support patient and family communication, contribute to phenotype identification using Independent Human Phenotype Ontology (HPO), and help patients understand testing options and navigate healthcare pathways with cultural competency.

I also build community and long-term support: I initiated a patient support group that became part of the Costa Rican Rare Disease Federation and contributed to early groundwork for what is now in process as the Costa Rican Amyloidosis Association. With ongoing genomics education (NHS England) and HIPAA compliance training, I bring a continuous-learning mindset to patient-centered clinical research support.
