Most European companies have localization covered. What they rarely have is a native English speaker who has spent nearly 10 years inside European tech, building the content standards, quality systems, terminology infrastructure, and content operations their English runs on.

At BlaBlaCar, I took over the in-context linguistic quality assurance program end to end, across up to 19 locales: I triaged 1,845 reviewer-reported improvements into 1,634 accepted and 208 refused, drove the accepted 88.6% to implementation, and audited 7,915 strings across up to 14 locales over 49 monthly cycles. I established 610 terms across three multilingual glossaries, kept a 2.5-year term-harmonization log of 150+ decisions, and co-authored the company's first cross-functional English content guidelines. As one of two localization specialists, I helped sustain on-time delivery and issue-resolution rates against targets that rose from 80% to 90% across seven consecutive semesters, reaching 99% on-time delivery (229+ projects and 15+ locales in a single semester). A string-context framework I created with iOS, Android, and web engineering scored 9.3/10 for usefulness in a 16-response translator survey.

At FizzUp, I was the sole English specialist for almost five years. I translated 310,000+ words from French to English, developed every English content standard from scratch (a 22-page translator guide, a master glossary and a structured six-phase content process), and ran a repeatable launch process across 11 new language markets.

My strength is on the source and process side: catching the terminology drift, locale slips, and non-native phrasing that multiply across markets, then putting systems in place to stop them.

Since October 2025, I have taken a deliberate break, using it to decide on and prepare for a move to Switzerland: German study at the Goethe-Institut toward the Goethe-Zertifikat B2, and coursework in AI and international SEO.
