What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can interpret and communicate accurately across languages—using strong note-taking, cultural sensitivity, and medical understanding—while supporting patients or families through clear, respectful engagement.

I’m a bilingual consulting and interpreting professional with fluent English and Spanish, plus conversational Mandarin Chinese, focused on clear communication across languages and settings.

In my current role as a School District of Philadelphia Bilingual Consulting Assistant, I interpret for parents, students, and school staff, take notes, and translate or transcribe documents. I also interpret over the phone and for long meetings to help people connect and collaborate effectively.

Previously, I served as a Health Federation of Philadelphia HC5 Patient Engagement Specialist, where I maintained detailed notes to track patient progress over time and conducted surveys to measure the effectiveness of patient engagement strategies. I also worked as a Health Federation of Philadelphia HC6 Spanish Interpreter, using strong active listening and cultural sensitivity to convey messages accurately between English and Spanish speakers, including medical terminology and procedures.

I hold a Professional Medical Interpreter Certification (June 2024 - July 2025) and an Associate in Liberal Arts (A.A.) from Community College of Philadelphia (December 2021). My professional ethos is consistent: listen carefully, communicate precisely, and bridge gaps so everyone can understand what matters.
