At Juspay, I own card payment products for HSBC and Yes Bank across five markets, working with a team of eight engineers. I build reusable acquiring capabilities, including merchant onboarding, cross-currency settlement, and compliance controls.
I expanded HSBC’s card acquiring footprint from three to five markets and reduced Visa certification from three paid testing sessions to one with an AI copilot. I also improved authorization rates by 1.5 percentage points through decline classification and a retry framework.
I shipped the platform’s first cross-currency settlement capability, which unblocked an HSBC cross-border e-commerce merchant win and now settles $1.5M monthly. I also designed reconciliation and pre-clearing validation systems to automate financial operations and catch settlement mismatches.
Before Juspay, I worked on BI transformation and forecasting automation at Amazon Customer Service, and product and backend development at Supply Compass. My background includes building Python APIs, defining product requirements, and using AI workflow tools to automate integration and compliance work.
