In my current Patient Access Representative role at Novant Health, I screen and verify patient eligibility, insurance coverage, and benefits before clinical services. Previously, I supported billing and claim-related patient inquiries as a Specimen Collector / Medical Receptionist, including insurance verification and front-desk scheduling and intake using EMR systems. I also worked as a Loan Consultant, analyzing client records and entering/reviewing applications with accuracy and compliance—strengthening my analytical and problem-solving approach that I bring to claims work.
