Joy Obwocha

I’m a customer-focused Travel Consultant with experience in planning personalized itineraries, managing client communication, and ensuring seamless travel experiences. I enjoy handling bookings, understanding client preferences, and working confidently under pressure in fast-paced environments.

As a TourConsultant Intern at Africa Celebrity Tour and Travel (February – Present), I designed and customized itineraries including safaris, accommodations, and transfers. I also provided prompt support to resolve client concerns during their trips, ensuring clients experienced smooth, well-organized travel from start to finish.

I build practical tourism capability through targeted training, including GranIT Safari Software training for tours. I also contributed to a Group Research Project on the development of adventure tourism, with findings successfully presented before an External Examiner invited by the college.

I’m currently pursuing a Diploma in Travel And Tourism Management at Kenya Utalii College and completed ALX virtual assistance training (January – March, 2024). Fluent in English and Kiswahili, with DELF A1 French and basic Italian, I’m a self-disciplined team player who values deadlines, close attention to detail, and excellent time management.
