I’m looking for a role in US healthcare billing and collections where I can own the collections cycle, use Salesforce/Zendesk for claim tracking, and improve follow-up workflows to protect recovery rates—while supporting a strong overlap with PST evenings.

I have spent over 10 years in healthcare billing and collections, most of my experience at The Nairobi Hospital. I manage a portfolio of up to 50 accounts valued between $500K and $1M, with ownership across the full collections cycle.

My day-to-day focus is US insurance claims—Cigna, UnitedHealth, and Tricare—where I resolve disputes, confirm what’s blocking payment, and ensure cash moves as expected. When an account goes overdue, I start by calling, understanding the cause, and negotiating a clear path forward before escalating.

I work daily in Salesforce and Zendesk to track every claim’s status end-to-end, so nothing falls through the cracks. I also rebuilt follow-up and escalation workflows, cutting claim processing turnaround by 20% and helping move cash into accounts faster.

I’m careful and process-driven with stakeholders: I walk healthcare administrators through billing and invoicing so disputes happen less often, and I pull aging reports and dispute trends to flag patterns early. I take pride in maintaining a 90%+ recovery rate by combining accurate claim review with timely, solutions-first outreach.
