What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build and lead dependable on-prem AI products where privacy, evaluation, and safety-critical reliability matter, while working directly with engineering stakeholders from requirements through production delivery.

At ALTEN on Airbus Defence & Space accounts, I lead AI and data delivery for manufacturing engineering, with accountability for around 20 production applications across two Airbus sites. I lead an 11-person team, translate client requirements into development scope, and own KPI reporting, documentation, and repository standards.

I’ve delivered on-prem Generative AI using self-hosted Mistral and Gemma models, including a service-oriented RAG and agentic assistant for aerospace documentation. I built hybrid semantic and BM25 retrieval, REST services with django-ninja, and an Arize Phoenix evaluation harness for relevance, hallucination, and correctness in safety-critical use.

Earlier, I built manufacturing data pipelines, ML forecasting, anomaly detection, and a Django + React analytics platform for the C295 programme. My aeronautical engineering background also includes a UAV-fleet simulator for the EU OCONTSOLAR project.
