Janet Villanueva-Williams

I am an education administrator with over nineteen years' experience leading schools, coaching principals, and consulting for educational organizations. I specialize in implementing student-centered, real-world learning models and driving instructional improvement across secondary and post-secondary settings.

As a principal I managed a $225K budget, oversaw safety and crisis management for 150+ students, led curriculum design, and supervised staff using the Rhode Island Evaluation Model. I recruited diverse educators and championed equitable practices that support inclusion and student success.

As a consultant and principal coach I provide professional development and intensive mentorship to school leaders, including multi-day in-person coaching engagements and international projects to implement Big Picture Learning models. My consulting work includes reinvigorating school culture and strengthening internship and workforce-preparation pathways.

I am bilingual, committed to relationship-building and systems thinking, and recognized for mentoring new principals and promoting teacher diversity.
