Tyteanna Kopinetz
@tyteannakopinetz
School leader and instructional coach focused on equity, data-driven instruction, and transforming curriculum and culture for student success.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Vice Principal / Dean of Culture + Curriculum partnering with school leadership to drive meaningful change—advancing transformational leadership, DEI, and anti-racist education so every student can achieve equitable outcomes. In my current role, I provide strategic leadership for academics, culture, and talent development: leading curriculum implementation, building data-driven instructional systems, running professional learning, and improving student achievement through performance management, observations, and actionable feedback.
My career is rooted in instructional leadership and people-centered coaching. As a Rising Leader Principal and ELA Instructional Coach (and prior Instructional Coach / Curriculum roles), I supervised teaching staff, strengthened instructional practices through regular observations and feedback, and enhanced research-based curriculum and instruction—using tools like DIBELS, Heggerty, MAP, and TS Gold to guide interventions and improve classroom outcomes. I also bring school-operations strength, including compliance, budgeting, enrollment management, and HR operations (hiring pipelines, onboarding, and performance cycles), while building strong family and community partnerships through high-impact engagement strategies. I’m currently pursuing an EdD in Organizational Leadership in Higher Education, and I bring that lens to my work: mentoring managers and coaches to uncover their unique leadership styles, find their authentic voices, and build teams grounded in collaboration, empowerment, and continuous improvement.
