I've delivered training, learning-development, technology, documentation, and consulting services through James McDowall Consulting since 2006. I design instructor-led and virtual learning, courseware, job aids, procedures, and performance-support resources.

At Canadian Nuclear Laboratories, I administered enterprise learning systems in a highly regulated nuclear environment, supporting course updates, assignments, completion tracking, training-history retrieval, controlled records, and users. I applied needs analysis, SAT/ADDIE, instructional design, facilitation, and stakeholder collaboration to meet operational and regulatory requirements.

I've also trained clients across Canada through Global Knowledge and supported project-management consulting for energy, mining, and industrial organizations through Carver PA Corporation. My work spans Microsoft Project, Excel, VBA, Access, SharePoint, Power BI, reporting, CRM applications, Dynamics AX integration, and practical workflow solutions.
